While DJ Minnie was bored with college life, she happened to learn DJing. She was so interested in this that she started her DJ career in earnest through the college party team and YCOC crew.
She used to like hip-hop, but after she listened to music like Dancehall, Afro, and Tribal in the club, she got to play these genres mainly because she fell into the exotic mood and exciting sound of them.
When DJ Minnie plays music, she focuses on the overall flow of the set and sounds that are comfortable to listen to.
She is usually playing music in Itaewon, and has been on various gigs and radio shows such as Jol, Seoul Community Radio and the Itaewon Global Village Festival with Sauce Cartel. She is a DJ who is more anticipated in the future.
CASA SELECTORS – 21 Minnie
DJ Minnie는 대학생활에 권태를 느껴 휴학을 하던 중 우연히 디제잉을 접하게 되었다. 이에 큰 흥미를 느껴 대학교 파티동아리 및 YCOC 크루를 통해 본격적으로 디제이 활동을 시작했다.
평소 힙합을 좋아했지만 클럽을 다니면서 Dancehall, Afro, Tribal과 같은 음악을 듣게 되었고, 이국적인 분위기와 흥겨운 사운드에 빠져 메인 장르로 다루게 되었다.
셋의 전체적인 흐름과 듣기 편안한 사운드를 중점으로 플레이하는 DJ Minnie는 이태원을 중심으로 활동하고 있다. Jol, Seoul Community Radio 등 다양한 파티, 라디오믹스와 최근 Sauce Cartel과 함께 이태원지구촌축제 무대에 오르는 등 두각을 나타내고 있으며, 앞으로의 활동이 더욱 기대되는 DJ이다.

I work hard on weekdays, and on weekends I enjoy playing music whilst being grateful to have places to DJ.
